Last night on 29th April the second Art for Cure was launched at a very impressive Private View at Glemham Hall. All the hard work that Belinda Gray and Sally Ball (and their host of volunteers) paid off big time and they managed to sell over £100,000 of art in just 3 hours. Hopefully this weekend they will manage to sell much more and make this an even bigger success than their last event in 2014. With a high percentage of proceeds going to Breast Cancer Now it was no wonder that many of the well known artists (Maggi Hambling, Michael Speller, Vanessa Stollery, Jenni Murphy to name just a handful) turned up to celebrate as well as some other well know faces like Sam Mendes. It was a joyful and chaotic occasion but everything ran smoothly and it was a pleasure to shoot - although challenging when you are trying to capture the art as well as the people in one shot over a very large area!!
